Soupy Sales passed away this week at the age of 83. He never talked down to kids and was one of the most recognized comedians of the 1960s. Along with Chuck McCann and Sandy Becker, Soupy knew how to entertain with his endless parade of characters and sketches, some based on Vaudeville. These great entertainers worked magic with a bare bones budget. All it took was talent.
